Welcome to The Niger State SIP
The National Social Investment Program Agency (NSIPA) of Nigeria was established in 2015 by the federal government to ensure a more equitable distribution of resources to vulnerable populations, including children, youth, and women. Under the direction of the National Social Investment Office, the program has implemented four initiatives to address poverty and promote economic development.

NSIP Components
Four different interventions were formed under the NSIP
01.
Home Grown School Feeding Program (HGSF)
The program aims to provide free meals to pupils in public primary schools across Nigeria. The beneficiaries are children in classes 1 to 3, and they must be enrolled in public schools.
02.
NPOWER
The program targets unemployed Nigerian youths between the ages of 18 and 35. Applicants must possess a minimum of a secondary school education certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent, and they must be able to demonstrate their interest in the chosen field.
03.
Government Enterprise and Empowerment Program (GEEP)
The program targets micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) as well as market women, traders, artisans, and farmers. Eligible applicants must have a valid Bank Verification Number (BVN), a valid identification document, and a registered business or cooperative society.
04.
Home Uplifting Program (HUP)
Formerly Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) the program is designed for the poorest and most vulnerable households in Nigeria. The beneficiaries are identified through a National Social Register that is developed by each state government in collaboration with the National Social Safety Net Coordinating Office.
